The Flyers and Penguins are here this afternoon at 1 o’clock. For the Flyers, a win gets them a little closer to the Devils and would help put some distance between them and Buffalo, Montreal and Florida (I’m counting the Rangers out at this point).

For the Penguins a win would, well, keep them comfortably in 10th place in the Conference. It’s amazing that Michel Therrien took a team two-years removed from a basement dweller to a Cup finals and ownership cans him. Oh well, nobody in Philadelphia is losing any sleep over that.

In other game-related news, the stupidest chant in hockey will undoubtably be heard today at the Wachovia Center: “Crosby sucks!” While both completely untrue and amazingly uncreative, its finer points will be certainly be enjoyed by some.
