Good to See We’ve Picked Up Where We Left Off

Because I want the Phillies to repeat this year, it gives me a sense of quiet calm to know that the team is pretty much the same as it was last year. Sure, Pat Burrell’s not here and after the gut-wretching departure of Adam Eaton, some things have changed. But one thing I suspect will never change is, well, not changing: Ryan Howard’s fielding. With this in mind, I was so happy to see that in a game between the Phillies and Team USA, Howard had 2 errors. The bad news–he was playing for the Phils.

Good thing he got in all of those early fielding drills with Sam Perlozzo.
