There is a story on Philly.com today about Andy Reid being interviewed at the owners meetings. Needless to say, Andy doesn’t really open up about anything. And as usual when it comes to Reid and or McNabb, the comments under the story are more entertaining than the story. One of my personal favorites is: God, I miss Buddy Ryan – sure, he never won a playoff game, but his interviews were SOOO entertaining. Well in that case maybe the team should hire Ric Flair to be their head coach. He doesn’t know much about football, but could you imagine how entertaining his interviews would be? While most of the comments are the usual drivel about how fat Andy is and how boring he is, there is one that I think is great, posted by moderndaymesh: So Reid doesn’t answer questions, doesn’t speak his mind, he’s blasted. McNabb DOES answer questions, DOES speak his mind…and he’s blasted. Mesh just hit the nail on the head. If Andy Reid ran into a burning building and saved a newborn baby, Eagles fans would complain afterwards of how he should’ve also grabbed the kid’s pet goldfish while he was in there.
