Harry Kalas Taken to the Hospital

Details are very scare at this point, but it’s being reported that Harry Kalas was found passed out in the press box in Washington and he has been taken to the hospital. The media was asked to leave the Phillies clubhouse and the team’s announcers were called in for an emergency meeting.
I don’t want to make a habit of pursuing stories like this other than to say that we wish Harry well and look for a speedy return to the booth.

This is a sad, sad, day for Philadelphia. At least he got to call that World Series and was their for the ring ceremony.

This almost feels like the loss of a family member. R.I.P. Harry. You will be missed.

I can only find solace in that he got his ring and was there to call the final out for the WFC. Today is a sad day and the end of something truly special.
