Step Away from the Ledge, Folks

Yes, it was a bad loss. You’re angry, frustrated, and bewildered by Chase’s sudden yips. But keep a few things in mind.
- This team rebounds from bad losses better than any sports team I have ever seen.
- They have their stud, Cliff Lee, on the mound for Game 3.
- Chase Utley is getting ready to catch fire at the plate. Mark my words.
- There are 5 left to play with 3 of them at home.
- The Phillies just played 4 straight nailbiters that came down to the wire. On the road. They won three of them. They ain’t gonna win ‘em all.
- Ryan Howard is still in the zone.
- The Phils went into LA hoping for a split. They got one.
- I have a feeling Bulldog Blanton is pitching Game 4. And I feel really good about that. So does the guy who runs Ron’s Ribs. He just told me that Lee and Blanton are going to win at home. The guy at Ron’s Ribs knows what he’s talking about.
