Great Baseball Trivia Question

The first 9 people to win back to back MVP awards make up the 9 positions on the baseball field (we’re just calling them outfielders, not RF, CF, etc.). One of them is the pitcher seen above. Please post any or all guesses below in the comments, and I’ll let you know which ones are right as you post them. Thanks to Mike for sending this in.

Um, wow. Nice work Anthony. I said “First 9″ so Bonds and Thomas don’t count, but they certainly don’t count against you. And yes, St. Almond, nice backup vocals.

MLB.com has Schmidt listed as an outfielder in 1980….

What? Well considering that he played 149 games that year, all of them at 3B, apparently that’s a typo.

I thought it was odd…I couldn’t find any reaseon for it either…just thought it was interesting…
