How Did So Many Teams Pass on DeSean Jackson

Here’s something that just blew me away while reading a recent post on Bleeding Green Nation about DeSean Jackson. Look at a few receivers picked before him in the draft.
Cincinnati-Jerome Simpson. He thus far has one career catch for two yards.
Washington-Devin Thomas. He has 15 career catches for 120 yards.
Buffalo-James Hardy. 9 career receptions for 87 yards.
Desean’s career line thus far in his short career? 86 catches for 1,413 yards. This almost makes up for the Freddie Mitchell pick.
