The top 5 most viewed stories on Philly.com yesterday, in order. Keep in mind, the Phillies don’t begin regular season play for, oh, another 5 months, and the Eagles are in the midst of a season in which they are a mere one game out of first place.

The newfound primacy of the Phillies in this town is a victory of sorts for those of us with good sense. This city is becoming a better place to live because its residents are now thinking in terms of baseball instead of football. That means people are learning patience and rational thinking as opposed to boorish childishness. It’s like living through the Renaissance.

I’m happy the Phillies finally took over, but realistically I’d revisit this topic next November and see if it still holds true.
Also, WTF Amaro? If you’re looking for a cheap 3B with a good glove, why not ask the Reds for Scott Rolen? BWAHAHAHA I’m just kiddin’. Feliz’ bat is not the reason we aren’t repeat WFCs.
