Temple Football News

In case you haven’t noticed, the Temple Owls are a pretty daggone good football team. They are 7-2, and winners of 7 straight. They have the best freshman running back in the country, Bernard Pierce, who has rushed for 1,211 already this season with three games left to play. Tonight they face a team that was named for rubber overshoes made by the BF Goodrich company in the 1920s and 30s. What team is it? Answer below in the comments.

Temple is going to give Philadelphia “football fans” a problem. If the town is such a big football town, as many would claim, they why the heck doesn’t this team draw any of them for $10? I have season tickets, and I don’t really want any of those maniacs showing up. Just sayin.
