Roughriders Lose, Poetic License Wins

In a sign of what an absolutely slow day it is in Philly sports, we’re posting probably the only piece we’ll ever write about the Canadian Football League. And it’s a short one at that. Deadspin.com posted this photo from the crowd at the Grey Cup (CFL Super Bowl) game last night between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes. Unfotunately for the team in Regina they lost the game but gave us a peek at something so much more interesting: the never-ending quest for inuendo that defines the culture of Canada’s 24th largest city.
