Do you really think that Mo Cheeks would have this team playing any better? Do you really think Eddie Jordan was the Sixers' first choice? No to both questions.

The problem is the management---the Sixers went "all in" with Elton Brand, who I correctly predicted at the times on Johnnygoodtimes.com would be a disaster---older guy without much speed who was a good player on a bad team coming off a serious injury. The one thing he had was that he played well against the Sixers when the teams had met. That is the kind of killer logic that led the Sixers to trade a No.1 (turned into Brad Daughtery) for Roy Hinson---a classic good player on a bad team who killed the Sixers (along with the equally, if not worse trade of Moses, Terry Catledge and 2 No.1 picks for Jeff Ruland and Cliff Robinson--quite possible the worst trade of all time. No cap then, so one bad move didn't guarantee failure. Now it does.

Frankly stated: The Sixers suck. They are horrible and probably will not make the playoffs in a year where it is possible that 3 Eastern playoff teams will be under .500. Coaching is the least of the Sixers' problems.
